The NSX was engineered to be the perfect balance of power and handling, form and function, sport and luxury. The same innovations that went into the NSX can be found across the Acura lineup. The balance of power and handling have been fused and interwoven into the exterior of the NSX design where every detail enhances performance.
The NSX has a multi-material body comprised of aluminum, carbon fiber and high-strength steel in a space frame design that delivers every aspect of an exceptionally dynamic drive.
The NSX engine is a hand-built Sport Hybrid SH-AWD Power Unit. The front wheels are mechanically independent from the rear power unit components and are powered by twin electric motors with zero delay while the rear wheels are powered by a twin-turbocharged V-o Q-speed DCT. The total system delivers a maximum of 573 HP. It takes five hours to build a single engine by hand, which is assembled by one of six master builders.
While other Super Cars are built for the track, Acura has not forgotten what should make any driver and passenger very comfortable.
Here are just some of the comfort features that are packed into the latest generation NSX:
Heightened situational awareness is provided as needed, without undue interruptions. The standard Multi-View Rear Camera displays a l70-degree angle behind the NSX. Additionally, available sonar-based proximity sensors alert when sensing obstructions for even more peace of mind.
